Original Early 1940s 40s Vintage Forest Green Crepe Dress white The jacket is further adornedThis gorgeous dress was made from forest green crepe in the early 1940s. It is cut to a classic 1940s silhouette with strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The front of the dress gives a mock suit effect through the use of a pleated edge. This pleating creates a sweetheart neckline and then runs down the centre of the bodice similar to jacket edges meeting and finally sweeps along the top of the hips to create a mock hem.
